New Website, amongst other things!
Hello Everyone,
Website
I am very pleased to finally roll-out the new website for Snowy Owl Mobile Home Park!! You should receive an email from Snowy Owl Mobile Home Park alerting you that there is a new announcement on the website. When you receive the email, open it up and click on the blue link (this announcement) which will take you directly to the “Resident Announcements” section on the website. All future general announcements will be posted through the website.
While you are on the website, please navigate around to the different pages and different links. If you wish to go to the first page (top of website), click on the Owl Logo in the top left corner. Please take a good look around and let me know what you think!!
You will notice that I have tentatively scheduled a Community Low Country Boil for park residents and family on Saturday November 8th, 11am-3pm. It is 100% sponsored and paid for by me, a small token of my appreciation for all of the wonderful residents I deal with regularly! It will be held over at the Pavilion inside of the boat landing. There will also be live entertainment. I would like to get a headcount prior to scheduling, so kindly shoot me an email if you can make it and please let me know your family headcount. More info to follow, thank you!
New lots and homes
The 2 new lots are almost complete, and the 2 new houses in the back of the park should be delivered by the middle of this month. I hope to list them for sale by the end of November, if not sooner. They are on the website, take a look. If anyone knows of friends or family looking for a new mobile home in the nicest park around, please feel free to send them the link to the website.
New residents
1083 Oakland Drive – Lisa Wedgeworth is settling in nicely and she continues to make improvements to the interior and exterior of her home. Looks great Lisa, keep up the good work!!
1081 Oakland Drive – Ed and Jessica Raymond have moved their home into the park and are close to being full-time residents! Stay with it Ed, it’ll all be worth it once the dust settles.
Lighting in the park
As most of you know, when I first purchased the park I had Berkeley County Electric install street lamps on all the poles running down Oakland Drive, plus I put a new and more powerful light on the pole in the boat landing. It has recently come to my attention that the interior of the park is still very dark at night. I am going to speak to Berkeley County Electric about putting up lights on the poles that run through the middle of the park. At this point, I am not sure if it will be every pole, or every other pole (I need to review the costs as well as lighting options). I will let you know what I decide. If anyone would like to discuss this (pros or cons), please contact me directly.
That is it for now, thank y’all!!

New Lot Additions
We hope you’re doing well and enjoying the summer! With kids back in school and the humidity finally easing up, fall is right around the corner — and it’s hard to beat that time of year in the Lowcountry.
A few updates from Snowy Owl Mobile Home Park:
-
The park has been permitted for 3 new lots. Work will start with 2 in the back where the carport/pavilion used to be. A timeline isn’t set yet, but residents will be updated before construction begins.
-
A new website for Snowy Owl Mobile Home Park is currently being built and should be ready in September. The site will be used for updates like this, resident communication, and marketing available lots. It may also help residents list their homes when they’re ready to sell. More features will roll out once the site is live.
-
The biggest changes recently have been the goodbyes and welcomes in the neighborhood:
-
1073 Oakland Drive – Kenny and Nora Morris are moving in (Ms. Teeka will be missed).
-
1081 Oakland Drive – Ed and Jessica Raymond plan to move in during September.
-
1083 Oakland Drive – Lisa Wedgeworth has joined the community.
-
That’s all for now — more news to come soon!

Resident Safety & Security
Over the past month, there has been some activity inside the gated area involving individuals who did not appear to be residents of the park or guests of a rental property.
As a reminder, access to this gated area is strictly reserved for residents of Snowy Owl Mobile Home Park and their accompanied guests. Sharing the lock combination with non-residents or allowing unaccompanied guest access is not permitted. This area is a private benefit for the community, and the park intends to enforce that privacy.
